When we were about to build our dream beach house at Ohope Beach recently, we looked about for a builder and Project Manager we could trust and have total faith in to deliver high quality workmanship and exactly what we wanted. From February to September 2014 we contracted Brett to build a cottage in Rewatu Rd. This was an unusual build as all the joinery was recycled and the house was to be off grid.

We chose Brett Dunstan Builders as our prebuild meetings and costings were agreeable and we appreciated his enthusiasm and can-do attitude.

We found Brett to be very easy to work with as the building progressed and nothing was a problem for him and his team. There were occasions when a section of build was completed to plan but we were not happy with the look. These times were treated with understanding by the build team and the work redone with no issues at all.

Brett was resourceful when necessary e.g with regard to the problematic stairs down to the cellar. He gave this much thought and came up with a solution that works just fine.

We found Brett and his team to be helpful, understanding, and nothing was a problem.

Brett Dunstan builders renovated our house. Right from the start Brett was able to estimate the time to do the job very accurately. The job was done to a very high standard, and Brett was able to call on extra labour when needed. For example when the windows came out he had extra hands to make sure the new windows went in and the house was water tight the same day.
